I'm a new reader of yours, Kimberlycun, and while I disagree on yr point that SG food is bad (well, I'm fairly biased, being that I'm Singaporean afterall, haha), I find your entries very interesting and engrossing, hence the digging up of your archives pages. Your Charlie's cutecutecute! I'm glad your experience at Newtown has changed your view somewhat on local SG fare. Perhaps if you'd like to sample some specialty food such as sup tulang, you shd head down to Beach Road the next time you come over. Oh and do try the yummy nasi lemak special (with rendang, otah and sambal sotong!) at Adam Road. To each his/her own.
