KY beats me. My first real job was AUD$5.20 an hour in a factory. Though, I did have a paper round when I was a teenager and was paid 2c per paper which came to $4.00, and that took about 3-4 hours to do as I had to roll the papers, put elastic bands on them and then ride to my area and deliver the papers about 5 or 6 times [as I could only fit so many on my bike at a time and my delivery area was not where I lived].

A lot of work for very little return.

admin: my first ever job was at an insurance firm issuing cheques from 8.15am to 5.30pm. Mundane but I did get a kick out of issuing cheques worth more than 6 figures. Everytime I did it, felt like I was on a roller coaster. And also, going to the temperature regulated underground vault where they store A LOT OF MONEY and valuables was a freakin' adventure. I was paid RM 650 per month for it, that should be around AUD$230. Not much, but I got to wear a lot of fancy work clothes. They say don't dress nicer than your boss, and it's true.
