beef tongues taste good, very chewy. a must try, Kim!

btw, sometimes having an appetite towards this kind of food grosses out people around you, lol. i love raw fish and any sort of bloody, sticky looking things with shells. urgh, heavenly. seeham, can’t live without it.

moo_t: now that’s one hellva list! speaking of balut, i think that’s one thing i probably can’t bring myself to eat though i will try it at least once. i haven’t tried beef tongues though i enjoy beef lungs. my primary school’s canteen used to serve them, braised in some spicy gravy on sticks (orgasmic). nowadays can only find em deep fried….sigh.

That’s why I prefer the term exotic food than disgusting. But curious people will pay more attention to disgusting stuff than exotic stuff. ;)

Pork tongues are troublesome to prepare. Some western restaurant served beef tongue. In Taiwan, you can get duck/goose tongue.

Tempeh, ulam,tapai,tempoyak, petai,durian,prawn paste, belacan ,cencalut :) Fuyu (fermented taufu), century egg with juicy yoke, pickle Shallot in vinegar, pickle black bean, cured meat. Nado (Japan pickle soya bean). Balut(fertilized and developed duck/chicken egg), Green bean juice. Minced raw beef, sushi, shashimi.

hui wen: not a frog hehe! guess you don’t eat much chicken feet aye? i loveeeeeee escargots and u should try snake meat (like a cross of chicken + fish). don’t need to go to HK to find it :)

diehardx: wildboar and wild pig same right? love em in curry *salivates* i’ve had silk worms in beijing and they were delicious and i’m going to sabah soon so i’ll try and find those sago worms. i’ve never had monkey brains..just the meat (very crumbly not so nice..i can imagine human meat about the same ackk). squirrels taste like chicken but slightly more game-ish.

abi: haha yeah i tot i’d always win the eating round but the stunts cannot do :P

z: i have not tried pork tongues! can u get em at restaurants? i have tried duck tongues it’s yummy.

I’m a big fan of pork intestines and chicken gizzards, but have you tried pork tongue? My family only prepares it during Chinese New Year(due to some fancy plant ingredient only available during CNY period). Fuck, its good I tell you, no matter how disgusting you imagine it to be. XD
