How to win tickets to MTV Asia Awards 2008!
July 29th, 2008 » 759 viewsAlright, who is going to MTV Asia Awards 2008? Held for the first time in our country and in our city of entertainment le Genting Highlands, what can I say…freakin’ finally!
But the question is….will you even get to attend it? Will you? You? You? Me? No……… :(
I heard the event is so exclusive that they won’t even give the VIPs their passes till the very last minute. So just so the tickets won’t be indiscriminately transferred to random people.
So yes, even my humble network of media friends can’t get me any ticket. Sigh, I feel so puny *sulk*
Can you imagine…the hotness that is Jared Leto from 30 Seconds to Mars will be there! Since he acted with Christian Bale in American Psycho, I’ve decided that that being in Leto’s presence would mean that I’d be upgraded by proxy from a 3 billionth degree to 3rd degree of separation from Christian Bale. Sheesh, I’m even more embittered now than when I started penning this post.

And then, I stumbled upon this picture of Leto….

Who needs any reason other than Jared Leto to see Jared Leto eh, ladies?
Oh yes, Leona Lewis will be there too. The Pussycat Dolls of course. And OneRepublic who brought us the overplayed hit that is “Stop & Stare”.
Sigh. I really, really want to go!

You are closer to Christian Bale already than you think.
Let me elaborate. Dabido — Rolf Harris’s Aunts — Rolf Harris — Some English Actor somewhere [because after all Rolf has met almost EVERYONE in the UK and Christian Bale is British] — Christian Bale. That’d give you five degrees of seperation already! :-) [It'd give me four] :-)
Of course I’m assuming Rolf hasn’t met Christian Bale, which he might have. I’m also assuming that someone Rolf has met has met Christian Bale, and I think that might be a number of celebrities even. :-)

OMG! I didn’t even know Jared Leto starred in American Psycho although I watched that movie. The first time his performance caught me was in Requiem for a Dream (Best. Film. Ever.). I loved his character in that movie.
I can’t go unfortunately, I have used up all my unpaid leave quota. Unless they fire me of course. ;)
