I’ve always, always enjoyed weddings. Weddings make me all warm and fuzzy inside. I love all the cheesy speeches, embarrassing childhood videos and hokkien uncles with penchant for karaokes. I don’t ever mind the “red bomb” because a wedding is afterall a celebration of love and commitment, I can only be too happy to be a part of someone’s very special day.

That is why I think that the best weddings are the ones attended only by the closest family members and friends, people who would genuinely wish you joy and happiness. People who would shed tears of happiness seeing you in a beautiful white dress. I would only want people like that around at my wedding.

Berjaya Hotels & Resorts (BHR) is looking to giveaway a relaxing and romantic beach wedding reception on 23 April 2009 for the perfect couple. The lucky couple will be treated to a fully sponsored beach wedding reception of their dreams at Berjaya Langkawi Beach & Spa Resort.

All you need to do is to register at this website, and answer several questions creatively. 50 short listed couples will be notified by email or by phone between 24 November and 27 November 2008. The closing date for contest registration is 23 November 2008, so don’t be late.
From then on, the contest gets just a little challenging, but if you’re already gungho enough to get married, a 1 minute 30 second home-made video is not going to stop you eh? Check out the selection details here.

Couples who are eligible to enter this contest must be legally married on or after January 2007. The couple or either one of them must be a Malaysian or Singaporean citizen(s) and must not be an employee of Berjaya Group of Companies, Integricity Corporation, official sponsors, media partners and members of their immediate families.
Most importantly, you must be in love too :)

i also agree with yuu that the people to invite to our wedding should be someone really close to yuu, someone who cares about yuu. but i’m sure when it’s my turn, my dad would invite many uncles that i would get acquainted to on that day itself.
