My real face.
10 Feb
Okay, I normally get complimented for my complexion. But only I know the truth. Till now.
My skin is not really all that. It has a lot to do with using the right foundation and pressed powder to achieve the right dewy appearance. And some major camera flash to blow out all the imperfections. Or simply, not posting the incriminating pictures. I take a lot of effort to hide my bad pictures from public consumption, which is why at times I get so pissed off when friend post really bad pictures of me on Facebook. Please okay, bad pictures really get to me. To add salt to injury, I’m not photogenic (which means I’m way hotter in real life. Seriously).
But it’s okay, I’m feeling a little generous today. Maybe also because it’s almost a decade after the millennium so I don’t care as I’m now a confident old woman with glowing inner beauty.
So behold, here are some pictures to scare the daylight out of you.

Bumpy.
#2

Blackheads.
Yes, I confess. I’m not very appetising up close. That said, I’ve managed to entrap the boyfriend already so he has to contend with all my bumps, lumps and humps.
Look at this.
This is NOT REAL.

Nopes.
THIS is real.

Don’t be scared.
Yeah, cosmetics may be able to hide the flaws and all. But the best way to get healthy looking skin is through using good skincare. But being a lazy bum that I am, I often conveniently forget about scrubbing or using a mask. Till my bumpy face freaks me out that is.
I’ve recently discovered Garnier’s PureA anti-imperfection scrub wash. It supposedly tightens pores and and regulates sebum. I love the feeling of the teeny weeny beads scrubbing my dead skin cells away.

Garnier PureA Anti-Imperfection Scrub Wash.
I’m also using this self-heating sauna mask from Garnier for a deeper cleansing. The amazing thing is that it really does heat up upon contact with my skin! The heat generated by the mask is really relaxing and I especially love using it right after a hard day at work. I’m even tempted to use it everyday but you’re only supposed to use a mask at most twice a week. The same goes for face scrub.

Garnier’s Self-Heating Sauna Mask.
I’ve only just started using these two products so I can’t really tell the difference in my skin yet. Will definitely blog about the results say in a couple of weeks. Personally, I hope I don’t have to wait that long to see a difference.
Here’s a picture for you in the name of beauty:

Don’t move a muscle when you’re using mask or you’ll get wrinkles in the long run!

Hey Kim, this is not related but I think you’ve lost weight.
whoa, i really thought your complexion is that good when you were sitting close distance to me during the Lupus event. great job on the foundation~ did you invest lots of money in good products, or your skin ‘eats’ makeup well?
I seriously applaud you for posting close up photos of your face without any make-up which incidentally, looks just fine to me. You go girl!
