Dog ladies.

Daddy was in China on one of his cheapass but kickass golfing trips, one brother vacationing in Kuantan with his girlfriend and my baby brother toiling for $$$ in Mcdonald’s, so Mummy dropped by over the weekends with Sisi and Brad.

#1 – The original dog lady with, [L to R] Brad, Sisi, Charlie.

Was nice to have my mom over. I finally got to speak in cantonese ching ching chong chong away and got my fill of family gossips for the month.

#2 – This is Charlie’s behsong look.

Brad and Charlie are still not friends. It’s a pity cause they’re so lovely together as puppies. Maybe after cutting Charlie’s balls off the situation would not be so hostile anymore.

#3 – Brad hiding from Charlie by trying to blend into my mom’s trousers.

Since spaying Sisi, she’s not so moody anymore and she’s gained a bit more weight. I’m so glad she’s looking much healthier these days.

#4 – Sisi says hi.

And I think this is me post-nose excavating, rolling the nugget into a ball of gold.

#5 – Just kidding.

Sisi and Brad the shih tzus.

So I was back at my parents over the weekends. Got to see the other two shih tzus, Sisi and Brad. Sisi’s put on some weight but we’re determined to fatten her up even more…she’s still too boney. I blame it on the stupid pet shop owner (Pet Save in Pandan Indah) who has not a single clue about dogs. My mom, being very new to caring for a dog had followed her ill advice to a t (ie: only feeding 2 tiny portions of kibbles to a growing puppy wtf). Poor Sisi, we had no idea. Luckily, vet said she’s healthy in spite of her weight.

Brad is healthy with glossy black and white hair. He’s even bigger than Sisi now despite being the youngest of the lot. He’s awesome with very even temperament.

Can’t wait to see them two again.

Aww inducing pictures.

Everyone’s gathered together for Reunion Dinner, including the pups. Yeah, my Dad got another black & white shih tzu and he’s named Brad. We prefer to call him Brat though cause he’s the most boisterous, naughty little thing. He has no qualms jumping off from high places and he always lands on the floor by rolling on his body. It’s nerve racking and funny at the same time.

Clockwise from top: Brad, Charlie and Sisi’s arse.

Sisi took a while to warm up to the two boys. She’s such a diva! Probably because she’s been the only one getting the family’s attention for a long time. She’s okay now though, even taking her own initiative to play with the other two :)

Sharing a bone.

On the other hand, Charlie and Brad are bonding amazingly well. They share their chew toys and even nap together!

It’s CNY Eve and I hope you’ll all have a drama-free family reunion dinner. Eat well, sleep well for tomorrow’s angpow collecting frenzy, w00t!

What I did on public holiday.

Jo has been talking about this super spicy Taiwanese sausages sold at Meng Tien for weeks and finally, we made the trip to try it out.

Boohoo, when we’re there, the stall was closed so we ended up eating a lot of deep fried stuff instead. Which wasn’t half bad, really :D

I had such a fun day! Just a bunch of girls chatting, eating and playing with our pups :D Next outing, supaspicy taiwanese sausages!

By the way, my parents are on vacation so I’m dogsitting. Sisi’s getting used to the new surrounding (my bf’s pad) and we’ve been taking her to Desa Park City for some exercise. We even met the pretty Jojo Struys who was jogging with her 3 month old pug. The lil pug was trying to get a bite out of Sisi, it was so funny!

Here’s a picture of Sisi all wrapped up in yet-another-tshirt-from-random-event, asleep with Mr. Hippo, Super Mario and her new chew toy.

Sisi sleeping.

6 days to my new job. If you hadn’t known, yeah, I’ve made the switch to marketing. Will be managing a slightly tired but really sexy brand…i is gonna bring it back to its former gloreeeeeeeeeeeh!

Evidently I was not an anti-socialite.

Suan‘s been complaining that I was being an anti-social. Where got?

So here are some evidence of non-anti-social behaviour:

I attended Dell’s Colours party at Centro where Erna won a Dell Studio Hybrid PC for being the best dressed. WTG!

Camwhoring in the toilet.
Full length mirror in the ladies…how could I have resisted?

I also went to Nuffnang-Nokia Silent Halloween Party where I put up together a costume at the 11th hour. I used my very first prom dress (which was a little snug -_-), a black feather boa I never used, a lot of baby talcum powder, black eyeshadow and black eyeliner.

Voila…Morticia minus the height and plus the girth. Ah Pau, you are correct!

Morticia wannabe

But most people whom I asked to guess my costume, said “Elvira”. And I had no bleeding idea who Elvira was till I googled.

This is Elvira..

And this is Morticia..

So, Elvira or Morticia?

In my opinion the best costume of the evening was Joe, who went as Kurt Cobain. He did all the makeup himself and you could read how he painstakingly put his costume together here.

My favourite costume was the Paris Hilton though. Hehehe.

Paree and me.

He/She’s none other than Rui, who did not just come to the party in Paris Hilton’s clothes, he totally played out his role. I love! By the way, he won a Nokia 5320 XpressMusic phone for the best costume in the female category haha.

With Yatz
Ah Yat seriously scared the poop out of me. He was really scary as Sadako!

Wacko Jacko and his pubes

Party was a lot of fun. Food was good. Music was great. And the highlight of the evening, silent dancing! We wore our earphones and started dancing to a pre-installed list of music by DJ NickyC. Kellster even won a Nokia 5220 XpressMusic phone for being the best silent dancer! w00t!

And Nigel, the tireless videographer of the evening won another Nokia 5220 XpressMusic phone for having the best post on the party. Check out his videos here. Congrats :)

So how can you say I’ve been an anti-socialite?

Yeah sure, I have been neglecting my blog. But that’s what you do when you’re pre-occupied with other more important things in your life, innit? Like going back to see my dog at my parents’ where internet access was limited by a Dota playing fiend of a brother. Speaking of which, here are some new pictures of our Sisi.

Her hair has grown a little…she’s looking more lady-like again :)

i love my pup so much 3

I’m currently blogging from Mentakab, a quaint town in Pahang where my Mom grew up. We have just celebrated my granny’s 70th birthday. I’m not going to talk about my granny yet as the pictures are still in the camera.

We made our way back early this morning. Brought Sisi along too, of course. She’s used to the car and all already and was comfortably catching cat naps (heh) throughout the 1.5 hrs journey.

We arrived at the house we’re renting for one night. It’s located just behind my granny’s home. It’s our first time staying at a residential house while visiting my granny. We used to stay at my granny’s when we’re younger, but since my cousins and us have grown quite a bit there’s not much space to go around and we had to stay at the nearby hotels till this trip.

The house is huge. 3 big bedrooms and a loft with 4 (!!) beds in it. All got air-cons and only for RM160 a night. Perfect for us till…..

power cut at noon. FYI, Mentakab hasn’t been experiencing the torrential rains KL’s getting. We were so hot, we ended up:

#2 Lying on the marble floor to cool off.

#3 Excuse my greasy face as it was really fucking hot.

But I was still in a jolly mood cause the marble floor really did cool us down and we were all just lying down, chit-chatting while a little fluff went on a rampage.
