Looking at the positive side of life.

Being stuck in downtown traffic really isn’t fun. While inching forward on Jalan Sultan Ismail, I hoped for Jalan Kuching to be clear. While inching forward on Jalan Kuching, I prayed for Jalan Loke Yew to be clear. By the time the road was indeed clear, I was already in the residential area. A normally 15 minute journey turned into a 1.5 hours nightmare. The cops weren’t very helpful either, I think it’s the intelligence factor or lack thereof. No thanks to some incredibly ignorant drivers up ahead too…couldn’t they have gone faster?

Anyway, work is still quite a worrisome affair. It takes two to tango and when one has two left legs, you’re pretty much fucked up. Yeah, yeah the damn kiasu southerners again. But I’m thankful for wonderful colleagues. They’re the reason I go to work everyday. Well, the money too of course but heh, I’ve been known to forgo money for such things as sleeping, blogging….Oprah. My boss, on the other hand is quirky with a capital Q. I guess I’m in no position to judge her as she’s afterall the one with the business, she must be doing something right all these times. I find her enriching in spite of her fondness for redundancies. So I’m just behaving like a sponge now, albeit a negatively ionised sponge, heh. Hope relationships in the office gets better though. If there’s one thing I’m sure about, is that the fengshui master that my boss hired is a definite pariah. ROTFLOL.

I haven’t been to the gym for more than 2 months I think (Yeah, I can’t even remember how long it’s been). I miss times when I could put on something and not worry about how my thighs, tummy and arms would look like. I mean, I wasn’t skinny but I was way fitter. Now I’m just a wobbly mass/mess. I’ve stopped buying slutty tops cause I don’t look good in them :(

So no more excuses for myself, I’ll hit the gym next Monday at 6.30am! Saturday and Sunday for shopping first :P

Mom’s really pissed with Dad cause he ran her car over a tree stump after proclaiming that he’s the best driver in the family. Damn funny. We were all trying not to laugh. Before that, a bus almost whacked the side of her car because he was trying to overtake it while making a right turn…..with all of us in the car. He succeeded, we’re all alive…the reason why he’s apparently “the best driver in the family/Malaysia/world” :P

I don’t know why. I feel really happy and peaceful now. Maybe cause I had a long chat/bitching/gossiping session with my Mom. She drives me crazy sometimes but yet she’s unbelievably soothing. Love my Mommy so much ok.

Don’t worry, inactive muscles can still be made to push even after 6 months inactivity.

Your muscles retain higher proportion of cells(I think) because of previous exercise stress, even if most mass has been used up for daily metabolization.

So with proper training and nutrition…..

You have nothing to worry about until your thighs, tummy, butt are breaking the seams in your clothing and you are busting out in places that shouldn’t be seen. If you find kids at the zoo start to give you peanuts, or someone asks how many moths pregnant you are … that’s when you start to worry!!!! :-)

[The free peanuts are okay though.] :-)
