A day of great bargains.

My calves are aching. Have been walking the whole day. Went to Sogo, Globe Silk Store, Kamdar, and Semua House and many other random retail outlets. Bought loads of fabric for work related use. Didn’t buy any clothing because they were unbelievably skanky. Ate the best nasi padang in town. The place’s called Central Cafe I think and it’s at Jalan Tunku Abdul Rahman (just opposite Sogo). It’s been there forever and my Mom used to eat there when she was working nearby. The best thing about the place is that they house the nasi padang stall, a mamak stall and a charkuehteow stall. So muhibbah!

On our way home, Mom and I decided to hit Nichii Fashion City. Got a futuristic looking skirt at RM4.45. That’s my best purchase to date. I’m so proud of myself. Also a red miniskirt to encourage myself to hit the gym. Then we decided to pay Jaya Jusco a visit too and bought a couple of pairs of heels. I need to buy matching bags.

Mom usually pays for my shopping, but this was one of the rare occasions where I paid for mine and Mom’s as well. Felt good but yeah, I now know the value of money at a much deeper level!

Eh? You also shop at Nichii? Nichii rocks!

It doesn’t take a hundred ringgit skirt to make a girl looks gorgeous. It all depends on the wearer. And you are the lucky one who would could get away, looking smashing in anything. Even in a RM4.45 skirt!
