Got my results via post. Not very happy with them at all. But what’s done is done. At least I passed. Have to work harder next semester.
Ass long day at work. Met loads of interesting characters today. I told a The Star journalist that his newspaper sucks. He sniggered. Got home around 12 am. Ironically, I still dig the work. Maybe I’ve found my niche? Gawd I hope so.
Bought some wooden photoframes from Ikea. They’re so cheap! Like RM3.90 for 3! And some lovely little easel stands for the frames at RM1.90 per piece. Think I’ll go back and buy some more.
Mom made me remove all my jewelleries. At first I refused, but she was so persistent I was finally convinced. I’ve learned to listen to my Mom, most of the time anyway. When she said someone’s going to rip my necklace off, someone will. She’ll allow me to wear them when I go back to school though, when I actually travel lesser. For now, she’s convinced me that I’m not in a very secure environment. Paranoia, excessive fear, call it what you want…there is a reason why some people are alive and some not.
Wouldn’t it be great if we could fold up our vehicles and wear them like knapsacks or something? Could save so much parking space. Wouldn’t it be great if they invented some sort of computer chips that disable engines when vehicles get too slow on express lanes? Like if you’re going 40kmh on an express lane (or any other road in that matter), your engine dies down immediately and cannot be restarted without the help of a mechanic. Will be really messy at first considering the state of road traffic in Malaysia but I think eventually and inevitably, it’ll help smoothen traffic. So yeah, if any of these ideas materialised, I’ll claim a stake!

Huh? make a slow car die in the express lane? don’t be so harsh lah……find a way to give the moronic drivers an electric jolt instead.

Ah… the Germany found a way to tackle that problem. First, German cars are not light-weight as to fly off the road when driven at high speeds. Second, German motorways (equivalent to Malaysian highways) have no maximum speed limit, don’t worry they have one of the lowest accident rates. Third, there is a minimum speed limit, below which motorists can be slapped with a fine for hogging up the road.

They invented a car which folds up into a brief case many years ago (and can be carried easily). Light weight, portable and fuel efficient. It’s about the size of a go cart - I wouldnt’ want to drive one, as idiots not looking may never see you and run over you … but if everyone was made to drive one, then it would be a much safer way to travel.
Only problem is the thing only carries one person and not much space for luggage/bagage etc. Still, if maybe they get everyone to use them, much less accidents, and more road for everyone to use.
Much better than those flying cars they invented recently too.
