There’s only a week left of having a job before I go back to college. I think I’ll be missing this; doing something I enjoy and getting paid for it. The best thing still, is having made a couple of new friends.
The first event that I coordinated went quite well. Sure there were some hiccups here and there but grouses came mainly from our partner company. Clients however were happy and that is enough for me. There’ll be another event next week and hopefully it’ll mark a good end to my internship.
I get shivers down my spine whenever I’m reminded of the 10000 word paper waiting for me. My only hope is that I could apply the same disipline I have in work to college. But how? I REALLY BLOODY HATE SCHOOL. I can’t wait to graduate.
Found a gem called O’Brien’s at The Curve. It’s an Irish sandwich shop and sells light, delicious sandwiches and salads. The portion is huge too! We went there last night and ordered two sets of sandwiches. It was enough for 4 people. Should have just ordered a set and share. My gym buddy and I have decided to have dinner there everytime after gym as an effort to eat healthier. I better be able to fit into a bikini when I go to Redang next month.
Going for Indonesian massage later. Boss’ treat, hehe. Then gym. Yay to the weekends!

Good weekend too!
(Finally saw Reese Witherspoon’s pic in Star’s TV Guide, and I was like “Ayyy, it’s Kim! Why is she blonde?”)

Hope it is a productive week. Sounds like you really enjoyed yourself. I used to be like that when I was a graphic artist. I’d leap oou tof bed to get to work. (Unlike I.T., where you arrive home in time to go back to work!)
I hope the 10 000 word paper proves easy to write for you and you do well. Money always helps too … pity they can’t pay for us all to study!
It’d be so much easier.

Kim, I agree about using your brain. That is why I said it would be a good business move because it would still allow you to pursue whatever you really want to do while earning some easy cash. Oh well…

Hey, haven’t spoken to you in ages. Life’s getting better. You’re always busy and never around *Grumbles*
I am glad to hear that you’re back on track with gym and all. I’m going running
4 times a week. It’s so much fun! The wind on your face, the cute guys who don’t give a damn about you and purposely show off that they can run faster and longer than you..yeah, I’m enjoying it. Hahahaha.
I am yet to try O’brien’s. They have a branch at KLCC, heard about them from Nicktay last time but never got around to it. Let’s hit that place when I’m back!
The Curve is quite nice. I was there when they opened months ago, before I left. I’m sure the shops have picked up by now.
Take care and good luck with your final semester..I’m so jealous
