My brother banged my door at 7.15am and woke me up from my slumber. Was going to gave him the most painful verbal assault ever but was halted as he shoved a bunch of bills at my face. “Look at these!”, he said with a tone of urgency so unlike him.
Wahbiang, I almost got a heart attack.
So I called TM up on #100 but was greeted by an answering machine that recited the amount of my bill. There was not even a generic explanation, since apparently there are other people who are experiencing the same harrowing experience (already saw posts about the issue from several bloggers). I called again to another department (TMnet, I think- just an attempt to speak to a person instead of machine) and spoke with a personnel named Zaro and he said I have called the wrong deparment and directed me to call #100, press 2 and press 1. I did as told and finally found out that the office doesn’t open till 8.30 am.
Going to call them people now. Wish me luck!

I dialled #100, pressed 2, pressed 1 and was asked by a personnel to dial #100, press 2, press 3 and press 3. Again, I did as told. After listening to “Thank you for being with us. Our telecentre assistants are still busy. Please wait or call again” for 12 times (yes, I kept count), I finally caught hold of a polite and pleasant lady named Miss Ida. She checked my account, then asked me if I were a Streamyx subscriber. I told her yes and then she apologised on behalf of TM for the billing disruption. She said that it’s their own mistake and that when I go settle my bill, I’ll just pay for the calls (which is about RM83). I asked her whether the staff at all the post offices would be aware of this problem and she replied in the positive. Lets see if I’ll encounter any problem then.

*hugs* I also kena heart attack, but the news came from my tenant. So much for INTERGRATION. If I had heart problems, I’ll definitely SUE the ass out of TM. Apparently if you accidentally surfed onto a porn/spam site, they cut your modem line and reconnect to theirs, thus the bill charges goes to you while someone surfs for free. Do have it checked babe… =/

I am going to their office tomorrow and guess what? i put my bills on auto debit and stupid maybank cannot stop the payment for me and asked me to go to telekom instead. Stupidity begets stupidity! MCH.

haha! The same thing happend to me. The bill stated RM2800 for “no modem”. My mum got a shocked of her life! The thing is my house phone bill and Streamyx bill are billed to different person, so i don’t get why they want to charge my house phone bill for “no modem”. Does house phone line need modem? lol
