Boycott products endorsed by BAD models of society.

It’s appaling how corporations are using bad models of society as their spokespersons for the sake of exposure.

Have they no idea that by endorsing these people, they are approving the disgusting behaviours and characteristics of these people?

Are we ready to accept the fact that these behaviours that are arrogantly portrayed by these irresponsible people and approved by some companies are going to influence our young and impressionable generation?

I’m not ready yet. How about you?

If you’re with me, I say BOYCOTT.

lets just say i have not-such-a-soft spot for capitalistic bastards. the perpetrators are bad enough, but those endorsing the behaviour of the perpetrators are twice worse.

dissect it the way you like, but it’s not a personal vendetta (if it were, it wouldn’t be conducted this way). im just trying to do my part, so yeah if you’re with me, do give the button a lil promo.

    cheers

I think they need to collect all the BAD models together and send them to my place, where we can be BAD together!

Then again, I’d probably turn them all lesbian! :-)
*sigh* why did I let reality into that fantasy. Was so good while it lasted.

I do not advocate radical moves where there is still room for engagement. Boycotting products and similar responses should be acts of last resort. The advertisers and sponsors have been made aware of this matter. If they continue to allow their names to be associated with such a miscreant, they have only themselves to blame for the damage from the fallout of that distasteful episode.

A profound example of a marketing misconduct at its best. Miscreant indeed. Sometimes I fail to comprehend the thinkings of certain powers that be.

I do not like to sound like I am cursing anyone, but I couldn’t agree more with Peter.

peter: my campaign does not single out any corporation. however, i do not deny that the advertisers and brands that you mentioned (i’m assuming here) have in fact prompted me to start this campaign.

as responsible corporations, they ought to be in tuned with their spokesperson’s behaviour and be constantly aware of what their spokespersons did. the least is to have the spokespersons to inform them of their possibly controversial stance before it got out of hand or tarnish the image of the companies.

if they claimed that they do not endorsed such offensive characters, then please clear it up. if they claimed they had no idea about such random deviant behaviours when they signed the people up, then i’m sorry they were duped into paying someone to misrepresent them; please clear that up too.

the point is, by proxy, a brand and its spokesperson are synonymous. hence, it’s important for both of them to be a constant mitigator of each other. in this instance, for a company to claim ignorance of its spokesperson unpleasant characters is, to put it mildly a faux pas.

again i insist, im not singling out any corporation. the objective of this campaign is to tell corporations to exercise discretion and diligence when and after appointing ambassadors, especially before the shit hits the fan.

I am suddenly ashamed to be Malaysian… It is because of narrow minded people like you that makes our country weaker and weaker.

I do hope that if/when you start working, no one exposes your blog. And if the cruel person did that, I hope you company doesn’t terminate you immediately. And if your cruel company does choose to terminate you and make you lose your source of income, I hope that they don’t blacklist you in all the other companies. That will really suck and I think that person who exposed your blog in the first place will feel like he/she is the lowest sampah masyarakat… or maybe he/she won’t….

Cause I’m ashamed to be your country-mate.

who are you to say what is right or wrong?
who are you to say that she is a bad model?
    Indeed narrow-minded..

Search your heart - what’s your objective?
One word for you - despicable

she earns using her blog, so lets say its her job.
anyone who is 21, holds a stable job, still goes “KNNBCCB” in public (places where she knows that theres childrens who are growing up and learning.) and influences the young to learn from her, doesnt deserves - sympathy
‘I come from a single-parent family, and money is something not easy to come by for us. My mom works very hard, and my brother is only 12. He doesn’t have his own room, and I want to move to a bigger house so that he can get himself a room of his own.’
if she really doesnt needs sympathy, why bring this up?
Singapore also have shopping malls who lock up their handicap toilets when staffs sees physically abled people who uses the handicap toilets. that proves that, physically abled people should never use the handicap toilets - DUH!
when she blog and says that you’re trying to get to the media and shame her as well, why not says she obviously asking for media and shame Mooiness too?
‘My blogders… If you like reading me, and you like the deals that Kimage and Localbrand has given to you, do email them, and tell them I have been serving them well as an ambassador. It is not fair that they think people just dislike me when that is not true. Let them know you guys still support me. We cannot let the detractors win.’
    *rolls eye*
how does this campaign actually work? support by placing this button on my blog?

ashamedmalaysian, such depth of thinking… for someone so ashamed you should be applauded, no?
by the way, what’s the evil here?
boycotting something because the people who represent them are bad influence under their personal banner?
personal perhaps, but still it’s a personal choice..
you may join the bandwagon or just walk away…
there’s more things to be ashamed of than this..
    get your priorities straight..
like covering up the fault with a blame on others..
    now THAT’s shameful..
or maybe some national issues that i’d rather not talk about anywhere.. ;)

kenneth, take a good look in the mirror and ask yourself this question…
who are you to say that she is despicable? :D
ahh, sounds familiar? it’s your own question! wow, you’re a genius..
let’s not get messy here.. ;)

    my stand on this? i’m neutral… :)
but i can’t help but wonder why you’ll just hurl attacks at another person just because they think different to yours..
    *takes out a glove*
oh well, you can attack me if you want.. i’m all ears.. :D

wow. seriously, some people have too much time. honestly speaking, i am not a fan of xiaxue at all. but the lengths some of her detractors go to criticise and undermine her is astounding. really, go get a life. a little criticism goes a long way but chidish actions like these are just preposterous and uncalled for.

Kim doesn’t really like people speaking back at her, nor does she like people to think she’s a narrow minded pea brained puss. Cos i left a comment telling her why she’s so stupid to even think that we should still be queuing behind the handicapped loo when its empty.. she deleted my post. Xiaxue has pple criticize her, but she never deletes those comments. You, kimberly, is a real f$#king idiot and a coward to boot. People like you puts Malaysia to shame. I don’t understand how you can stoop so low, why don’t you just get a life, a real life. Or perhaps an entire makeover. LOSER

I think this is basic knowledge from which i learnt when i was tiny. Handicapped loo is meant for handicapped people, and that’s why it is called handicapped loo. As simple as that.

We shouldn’t use it even if it is empty, cuz you never know if there’s someone who needs it the next minute. People debating if the handicapped loo should be used even if it is empty. That is not the point.

Basic knowledge tells us we should keep the handicapped loo available all the time in case for someone who needs it. It is not up to people to debate it. It’s a question whether you know or you don’t know.

Xiaxue is just plain immature to open up a discussion for it. It’s not about the law. It’s about basic moral education, that we learn when we are still tiny. It’s a question whether Xiaxue have it, or not.

    Fucking obvious, wasn’t it?

admin: it wasn’t obvious to many people though. sad.

admin: thing is, i won’t ask someone, like you. karma’s apparently a bitch, lets see who finds out first. and, i do know who you are. saw your post on great blogger wtfbbq…..you, are definitely not one.
