Another option is http://www.yousendit.com/ . Upload your file there, then pals can download whenever they want. Esp. if your files are above 10MB, since that’s the Gmail limit.

I am still using yahoo. I think I get used to yahoo’s simple layout. Gmail is cool too, but.. I find it too tedious..
I seldom send pics via e-mail anymore. I just posted it on the yahoo photo page - and forward them to everyone. It is easy, won’t clog hotmail account and you can post as many as 100 pics at one go!
