Just thought I’d share some good news…
My mom went for a full body checkup and the doctor felt some lumps on her breasts. So she had a mammogram done and apparently there were two shadows found on her breasts. The doc assured her that the density of the shadows looked like ordinary fibroids and told her not to worry. When my Mom related the story to me, I felt like the sky fell down on me (cause I’m such a paronoid, my bf can attest to this fact), but had to put up a brave front as not to upset my Mom.
Anyway, she did all the necessary tests and today the results came back…
No malignant cells!

oh man, that’s a relief indeed. you know how many ppl get cancer nowadays, it’s scary.
plus the cancer treatment itself is so damn expensive summore. gosh we really can’t get afford to get those bad malignant cells.

thank you guys. you know, she had a scare before this, benign ovarian cysts turned endometriosis. a bit sad thinking about my Mom’s health problems but at least they’re not fatal.
can’t agree more, it is truly important to live healthily. i’m still trying to convince her to go to gym but she’s a stubborn woman, prefering her idiot box than exercising. to her credit, she does eat very healthily so i’m latching on to the thought.

Glad your mom is alright but it’s still best to have routine checkups based on her doctor’s advice of course. Early detection beats any medication out there.
