It’s that thing. It’s back again. I thought it’s gone for good. No, no, it’s never gone. It’s always here. Waiting to pounce on me when I least expect it. It’s been here for days and I didn’t even know it. I’ve just discovered its existence. When I realised the activity I enjoy most usually didn’t even provoke the tiniest pleasure, I knew. I hope it’d be gone soon, or at least go into hiding again. It’s such a terrible thing to live with. This thing systematically ruins your life to a point, if you’re lucky, you’d muster the last remaining sanity to interrupt its plan and push it back into its cave. Either that, or you put yourself out.

Maybe it’s just the water. Yes, still not a drop. Zilch. But I know better of course. It’s the thing. Have a nice weekend, everyone. I’ll be back.
