I’ve made an appointment to see my dermatologist tomorrow morning. I absolutely cannot take this stupid itch anymore. At times I could refrain from scratching for a couple of hours, then I’d relapse and scratch till my skin feels raw. My legs are now a nightmare of raw, bulbous, reddish flesh. Even I wouldn’t want to have sex with me. The jabs and the medication that the GP gave me were useless. What they did were just put me to sleep (I suppose that’s how they prevent me from scratching). I hope my doctor could fix this (he did a good job the last time I had a major flare-up). I need to party without constantly scratching my legs!!!!!!!
I hope you’ve had dinner, cause the following picture will render you appetite-less for the next few days…

Actually, it looks a lot like mine. Mine started about three years ago. Its quite rare now, but does appear. I have this lifesaver creams (one for day, one for night) from this doctor in Subang. I just keep it with me. My ezecema only acts up when i’ve waxed/used cream hair remover and the hair is growing back. I’m sure your dermatologist can fix it however, as a last resort, if God forbid, it doesn’t vanish, gimme a ring and we can go to that doctor in Subang. Don’t worry
You’ll be fine. *HUG*
admin: my uncle was raving about this wonderful derma in subang too! i wonder if he’s the same guy? i have no idea why mine acts up, they just do? it was right after my final paper, and then a bit of itch on my shin, and now this
think it’s spreading to my arms too…arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. and i’m so tempted to epilate my legs cause it’s my hot derma!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *winks* lol

Welcome to the club. I got attacks but I am not sure if they’re eczema.
My case is more towards Chronic Urticaria, aka Chronic Hives.
Nothing a pack of Zyrtec can’t fix during emergencies.
But on the long term, I rather desensitize on purpose by inciting them deliberately with what I am allergic with.
I do notice that fair skinned people tend to get these skin problems easily, be they hives or eczema.
Maybe we need more sunlight or something.
Yours look like bumps… from what I see, it may not be just eczema..
Looks just like my chronic hives when i scratch and they get even worse…

OMG ARGH
Uhm. Dr Ting. Damn good reputation for being effective.
Unfortunately, effective by using lots of steroids.
So.

hmm…it doesn’t look that bad…
and on the same train of thought, there’s my grandma always used to say that scratching it actually spreads hives over a larger, but i’m not sure if that’s medically accurate.

omg thats one serious attack!!
my cousin had eczema which was soo bad that his sister had to be born so he could feed on breasts milk- which apparently is one stop cure for eczema (??). in any case, it worked for him lah.
hope the dermatologist is a brilliant man, stop scratching!

while by not stratching the affected area may be one of the good way to contain the itchiness but temptation betrays us most of the time. I’m an eczema patient myself and I sure know as hell how the itchiness would drive us insane. Take care Kimberly. You rock.
