So I was at the bank, to fix some road tax thing. I had requested the officer to courier the documents to a branch in Bandar Sri Damansara. While he was liaising with his colleague from another branch, he kept saying Bukit Damjara, Bukit Damjara, Bukit Damjara.
Do you know how bloody stressful it was just to watch him talk? And I was pressing for time. I felt like snatching the phone receiver from him, whack his skull with it and scream BANDAR SRI DAMANSARA.
However, I smiled as sweetly as possible and told him that it’s Bandar Sri Damansara and not Bukit Damansara. And bugger still went, “Confirm Bukit Damjara? Confirm Bandar Damjara? Ah? Uh? Ah?”.
Walanneh…..
Finally got my long overdue cheques and banked them in. Submitted another job application today. Wish me luck.
