Don’t hate us cause we’re classier.

Yesterday afternoon I opened my inbox and found myself an invitation to a job interview. Time for some physical and mental workout to prepare for it. I do hope I get the job as it would take me nearer to my goal of financial freedom. Another one that I applied for is still quiet, but apparently the company is a procrastinator so I’ll be keeping my fingers crossed still. Wish me luck!

Woke up to this:

malaysian fashion is really &@#^%@!!! @__@

I’m sorry Joey, one thing I can tell you is that Malaysian girls in general prefer to let our natural beauty do the talking. If you think that being over-dressed, over-made and over-blinged in occassions from BBQ parties to a lunch at a restaurant chain to lounging at your childhood friend’s home constitute to being fashionable, may I prescribe you a dose of Dr. Phil for the self-confidence deficiency and less consumption of MTV for the obvious reason.

Natural beauty is one thing (that one is a make up issue). I think the missmatch of clothings, colors and fashion culture by a “certain” group of people might have given him an impression that Malaysian girls have a really bad sense in fashion.

I do agree with him to a certain extend. Exclude those OTT ones, most Malaysian girls tend to mix Japanese fashion culture, HK and the Western ones all into one outfit and it looks horrid. They try to be different but it’s ugly different not uniquely different.

admin: i won’t say most malaysian girls though. they’re limited to the local ah lians we so love to diss anyway.

Sorry, but since when did fashion become priority number one?

Behind all that beautiful (or otherwise) colorful elaboration is still a body that will rot to dust anyway. Might as well do something more worthwhile while you’ve still got the time rather than wasting it on critisizing the way people dress that does not contribute to the world at all.

    =)

I only agree if that applies on the ah-lians.

admin: thing is, fashion is really subjective, isnt it?

Maybe Joey is related to the Cat in Red Dwarf! :-)

    ‘over-dressed, over-made and over-blinged’

I hate that. Most guys prefer girls to be more natural. We especially hate the excessive use of make up. Nothing worse than dating a girl who needs six packets of plaster slapped on her face before she’ll even venture outside.

If we wanted to kiss plaster, we’d date a wall. :-)

‘ Malaysian girls in general prefer to let our natural beauty do the talking.’

And so should all girls. Natural Beauty wins everytime over plastic beauty. [Besides, we all know the plastic ones break easily!] :-)

admin: hehehe, for one, JOEY’s an asexual name, makes you wonder…
