I’m amazed at the audacity of some young ladies nowadays. What happened to good manners and magnanimity? How on earth did they learn to be so vulgar and vocal at the same time? Amazing stuff, I tell you. What’s even more amazing is that they are completely lacking in the value we call humility.
So there are women who are bitches and there are ugly women who are bitches. The difference between the two? The former you could let off with the resignation that “nobody’s perfect” or “she is pretty afterall”, while the latter generally annoys the hell out of you. To top it off, these ugly women are genuinely oblivious to the fact that their faces are covered in craters and the perfect posture they apparently possess reminds me of a certain lopsided faced boy in Notre Dame Something. Sometimes, these women are generally okay looking too, but unbelievably mediocre and frankly very boring and uninspiring. Lets not even begin to talk about their fashion sense, which even my granny would snub.
Bottomline is, what do these ugly women (or mediocre looking women, have it your way) have that warrant them a license to be a bitch? Mind you, I’m not saying that pretty women are allowed to be mean, but they do get away with it at most with a less than scathing comment, usually accompanied by an unintentional compliment thrown in as well (ie: bitchy lah but what to do, so pretty mah….bitchy also considered cute - you catch my drift).
When it’s the ugly women that are the bitches though, I’m stumped. I’m completely dumbfucked. I mean, aside from noticing and commenting on other people’s flaws, won’t they have other concerns as well? For instance, I’d imagine they’d need a lot more time to conceal their massive craters instead of making snide remarks about other people (who usually are obviously much better in terms of personality and looks). I also imagine that they will need a lot of time to consider plastic surgery than to condemn other girls.
I suppose maybe, just maybe they’re so ugly is because they’re are so occuppied with condemning others, that they have completely forgot about improving themselves, be a better person, you know that sort of things. To better clarify my point you could read Jolene’s account of an ugly bitch in her blog.
The funny thing is I had this post in draft, because there was an ugly bitch at my workplace. I had not posted it because I had decided to let it slide. But Jolene’s post has given me reason to post this, as it’s so apt. To the gawky ugly ape, EH JANGAN PERASAN WHEY. I think Jolene should be the one to be mortified if she was mistaken for you. Cause you’re a terribly, terribly, horrid person.
Anyway, work sucks and I HATE THE YANKS.

bitches are bitches regardless of how they look. being good looking shouldn’t even be the tiniest excuse to get away with it. on the other hand, everyone bitches at some point. is there ever any justification for being bitchy? sometimes i feel there is, other times unwarranted, like in jolene’s case. bitchiness will always be subjective.

I’m not saying that getting bad treatment gives people the right to act like bitches. I don’t act like one, but there are times, when circumstances don’t allow us to be nice.
However, some people go around calling others bitches just because people refuse to let them have their way all the time. The only reason I say I’m a-so-called-’bitch’ is because I was called one for protecting myself, not because I act like one.
I just don’t think that such an emotional damaging word should be used in the first place. People who are labeled bitches eventually become bitches if (like many of you said) they aren’t taught by their parents.
Nevertheless, with that said I posted the comment BEFORE clicking on the Jolene link. Hence, you are right, there are people who are bitches. And I can’t be bothered to figure out the psycological explanation for their actions.
