So, I just got back from Jakarta. It’s urmm…dusty.
Happy Belated Birthday, Dad. Sorry I couldn’t be around to celebrate with you. I know you read my blog and you don’t like the kind of exposure I subject myself to, but please trust your daughter that she’s taken every precaution to protect herself. I love you, Dad and thanks for everything.
I need some new clothes terribly. I need to refrain from shopping at bargain shelves and skim on a few insignificant bucks. I need to stop giving in to Tim Tams. I need to sleep more.
All my life I’ve been told that it’s good to have general knowledge. I like reading encyclopedia, I think wikipedia is the best thing since condom. I have a fair grasp of general knowledge. I’m not the most eloquent person you’ll meet, but I can manage. But why is it so difficult to make conversation with people? As time goes by, I’ve come to the conclusion that it’s not me. It’s them.
I need to be a better conversationalist with people, stupid people. I think that this is a pressing problem.
I’m pathetic. You know you’re pathetic when the most enjoyable activity you can think of doing is eating a big bowl of banana nut crunch with cold milk while watching mindless tele. I’m pathetic.

I just had banana nut crunch with cold milk while watching tele this morning. Hmmm, yummy and so not pathetic! Anyhoo, I seldom comment on blogs, but I just had to here. I feel the same way too sometimes. It’s so hard to strike a fair conversation with a person sometimes. I’m lucky in the sense that I have a few friends who I can really relate and talk to when I need it. Quite a few actually. Just shows you might not have found your place yet. You seem to be travelling a lot, it’s just a matter of time when you’re gonna meet people you can really talk to and not seem like a supposedly profound idiot.

Try uncyclopedia.org, it’s way more resourceful and you can cite them in your journals and papers too!
