So I watched Cicakman. I thought it was going to be bad, in a guilty pleasure kind of way. But I had sorely mistaken, it’s actually bad bad.
Throughout the movie, I was either falling asleep or got woken up by Aznil Nawawi’s annoying ketawa menggilai shit. Oh gawd I don’t even want to talk about it, just a really fucking bad film.
And you know what, I thoroughly enjoyed Pontianak Harum Sundal so you can gauge my tolerance for bad films here. And I can safely say that there’s no reason to watch Cicakman, except maybe to see for yourself how incredibly horrible it is. It’s the longest 2 hours (or was it 1.5hrs?) of my life. I never got so well acquainted with my watch.
