I was chatting with my Mom, and she was telling me about how Semi Value answered to reporters on national news. I don’t watch local news much so I was oblivious to what happened. Apparently it has become a popular joke in whole of her office.
She was saying it so animatedly I had to laugh out loud.
Mom: You know how he said it? *”Bagi bikin highway, marah..bantah. Tak bikin highway, marah…bantah. Apa mau? Macam itu, saya bikin tutup semua highway. Pigi Penang 1 bulan. Pigi KL 5 jam. Semua naik lembu kereta”
Kimberlycun: Buwahahhahahahahahah. Yeah I remembered he asked that AP chick to **bukak kain at some launch.
Mom: Buwhahahahaha.
I was amused. Had not even thought about a more pressing issue. Till I saw this.
Everyone, please check this out.
For instant revelation, check out these pictures.

To say that I am appalled is an understatement.
*in atrocious Bahasa Melayu: Build highway, angry…object. Don’t build highway, angry…object. What do they want? In that case, I’ll close all the highways. So journey to Penang takes 1 month. Journey to KL takes 5 hours. All ride bull carts.
**in atrocious Bahasa Melayu: remove skirt

Wah lau. 2metres from the highway. That’s scary. Imagine a lorry at 80km/h or more, accidentally skid and head towards one of the buildings…. scary :S It would be scarier if the lorry carries a tank full of petrol O_o”
He’s making money out of this project, in big numbers obviously lor. Then why he’s so eager to still continue this project.
Cakap tak serupa bikin punya orang ini Semi Value.

Classic example of lack of foreplan, lack of foresight, lack of foreskin.

Cameljoe - every Government on earth is run by monkeys in suits! Only thing is, those ones are your monkeys, and our ones are our monkeys!
Kim - those residents don’t know how lucky they are - they can go to work for free now. Just have to time it right when leaping off their roof onto passing bus!
Why can’t people see the upside to these things?!

Well. The highway is a good idea but the practicality isn’t.
Think about it.
If you happens to be one of the residents and also happens to be living 2metres beside the highway, would you be able to sleep at night without getting worried of being crushed by large, heavy vehicles? I don’t think I can. A small Kancil at 90km/h and hitting the house would be disastrous enough. Quadruple that damage with a lorry that carries a full tank of petrol.
Just my 2cents *shrugs*

This man’s brain had overheated and is affecting his judgement. That is the consequences of wearing crappy wig/toupee 24/7.

I remember once, on national TV, during the water rationing, he said, “Sekarang, kita tengah kegawatan air, maka, rakyat diseru supaya, jangan membuang air.”
Translation: Now, we are in the midst of water shortage, the people are told not to take a piss.

Asyraf Lee - you taking me serious? Ai Carumba!
Anyway, petrol tanker driving into house … free petrol (Just install extra fire fighting equipment!) In fact, try to leap onto the petrol tanker (vis-a-vis Mad Max style), steal the petrol and become millionaire! Then, use money to move to a new house!
Seee … think outside the square you live in!

spiller: the accident happened at another place, but imagine it happening at the site. scary..
cameljoe: i presume it’s people’s fear of unfamiliarity.
asyraf lee: i share your sentiment.
abc: rather harsh to think that they deserve it just because they voted BN. but yeah, it’s a good thing to vote wisely!
kenny: spot on! lol
dabido: haha, what do you say about bad jokers? they kid at the wrong time
helen: hhahahahaha, good one!
gina: rotflol. if we get 10 sen for every blooper he’s ever had, we’d be rich people
dabido: very tactful *thumbs up*

god. that’s exactly what I’ll call bodoh. Except it’s not just bodoh, is it? It’s many more annoying things about the government than that.

Then again, I recently heard that a lot of these houses have illegal extensions, which may be why it’s close to the highway.
Not sure about the accuracy of info, or if it was started to make the residents look bad.
admin: the illegal renovation might be true, as i have personally witnessed in cheras (which is a popular pastime in my neighbourhood). but renovations to the extent of being near to the highway, i think that’s very unlikely because any renovation would not have been done beyond their property boundaries. from what i’ve gathered, there should be a buffer zone of at least 19m between houses and highways. it is quite illogical for residents to extend their houses to more than 16m. the current space between property boundary and highway is 2.3m. they may have illegally renovated their houses but for parties to harp on this looks more like a conspiracy to deviate from the main issue than addressing the real problem. you can check out this link to get a clearer picture
