Scariest day of my life.

Prediction of my own destiny came true?

ST’s car hit a wall while we’re on the way to KL from Bangsar.

There were four of us. Fortunately, nobody was hurt. Just a tad shaken. And a broken finger nail.

Remember to read ST’s account on the accident.

++ Update ++

ST’s post about the accident is up!

Sien. No title :P

Ass long day at work. Damn tired. Damn Cheras traffic. Damn downpour. Finally got home and Mom’s already asleep. I’ve only seen her for like 2 hours this week :( Mommy I miss you :(

I got my personal work email. I know it’s silly but I feel strangely accomplished. Hehehe. Had to take LRT from KLCC to Taman Bahagia, damn long and boring journey!!!!! I counted 12 stations in between. How do you do it, KY?

Am quite psyched about this new assignment. I hope I don’t screw up.

Isn’t it weird why people only call you up with work offers right after you’ve landed yourself a job? Kind of like when you’ve found a new love interest and everyone starts chasing you. You know, that kind of thing.

The ex-s are going to be in town on the exact same day. July 14. Bad omen? Spooky shit….

Junk food makes you think silly.

“Small minds discuss people, average minds discuss events, great minds discuss ideas”. Wouldn’t that be the perfect classification for blogs since they are direct intepretation of the mind (copycat blogs aside)? As I’ve said in a previous post, get a life and write about it.

My Mom is a weird woman. She has exquisite talent for saying the unlikeliest thing at the unlikeliest moment. When I was 13, two days before my birthday, she drove me to a bakery and asked me to collect a cake. I innocently asked her who was it for and she snapped back at me. “Don’t pretend, ok? So obvious still want to ask?”. I was crushed and I almost wanted to drop the cake on the floor and walked over it. Few days ago my Mom called me to ask whether I’ve hired a caterer for my birthday party. I said I haven’t and she snapped back at me. “You don’t want to do anything is it? You want to leave everything to us? It’s your party”. I’m your daughter? And it’s going to be one of the more important days of my life? I secretly think that she reaps pleasure from my guilty conscience.

I’m feeling a lot of hatred towards humanity. People should just dissappear and I should lose 10kilos.

I feel incomplete. What am I missing? Do I have a lost puzzle? I think I might need to pop some EPO.

Random thoughts on a Sunday.

I received 6 pairs of chandelier earrings. They’re sooooooo beautiful. Thank you!

I ate some weird English pickled vegetables with cheese on toast. Woah, damn good! I love Tesco.

I’m going to Hitachi Leadership Initiative on Tuesday at Mandarin Oriental. I hope lunch is provided. Ehehehehehehhehehe :P

I watched 8 Mile, finally. It is really unexpectedly good. I’m surprised by Eminem’s performance, his rap battle scenes were so cool. Kim Basinger’s depiction of a trailer trash was good too, “He won’t go down on me!” with puppy eyes and all. Finally the fully clothed sex scene..in Paris Hilton’s words, that’s so hot!

I got accepted for internship. I’m so excited about my new job. I hope I won’t get sick of it. I won’t blog about work though cause it comes with too many complications.

I want my meaty pork knuckles.

Went to Poppy last night to celebrate a friend’s birthday. Not a good idea to do it on a Friday night. Very, very sleepy. Didn’t help matter that the DJ sucked. Same rhythm the whole night *yawns*

Left about 2am and headed to Jalan Raja Laut for Mungo Jerry’s bakkutteh. I haven’t been there for ages and they’ve hired some Bangladeshis as waiters. I asked for leaner pork knuckles, dude gave me bones 0_o. What…do I look like a bitch to you? Anyway, the gravy was still damn good. I lapped it all up with the signature rice drenched in onion oil.

I really need to hit the gym. Somebody kick me to the gym!!!!!

My Birthday.

You know what, I don’t really like my own birthday, it’s the time when I feel most paranoid and vulnerable. I become insecure and I doubt whether people really sayang me and stuff. That’s why there was a couple of years when I refused to aknowledge my birthdays. I’m also not really keen on people finding out when I was born. But this year, this
JULY 23 WILL BE MY BIG 21ST BIRTHDAY. JOT IT IN YOUR DIARY - MAKE SURE YOU’RE FREE ON THAT DAY, CHECK OUT MY BIRTHDAY WISH LIST, GIVE ME PRESENTS (IF YOU’RE NOT IN TOWN, USE A COURIER) AND WISH ME HAPPY BIRTHDAY ON THAT DAY. Hehehehehe. Stay tuned for party invites my hos.

P/s: When friends in London finally texted to inform me that they’re safe and sound, I breathed sigh of relief. I can’t even begin to imagine how it would feel like, having your city bombed. It’s something too scary and dark for me to contemplate.

Sometimes….

Being stuck in the office for 9 hours only leave you enough time for dinner and bedtime. As bad as it sounds, I don’t really mind it. As a matter of fact, I think I do prefer working than studying. Certain work that is. Today, my boss asked me to sort out five 6″ thick stacks of business cards into categories and re-arrange them in alphabetical order. Then, I had to type them all out in excel sheets (full addresses, telephone numbers and all). Suddenly, I felt like going on holidays again.
